I use Mobile email to view my emails. The attachments show up in docx format but I am unable to open them or save them or anything. Is this possible?
I wasn't even aware the enV Touch had a document viewer, as opening attachments is something reserved for smartphones. Apparently it can from some website reviews I've read. However, it can only open/view files in MS Office, text and PDF formats, but you can't save or edit them. I know that MS Word can open and save files in .doc format but I don't think that's the same as saving it in Word format, but I could be wrong. To troubleshoot this try saving a file in in Word format and sending it your phone as an email attachment. If you still can't open it then contact VZW tech support at 800-922-0204 from a different phone, have yours with you, or *611 from a different mobile phone.
