Calls randomly go directly to voicemail and text randomly delayed up to 2 hours. We replaced old network extender with new 4g extender bought, new phone, called service reset phones several times. No blocked numbers, do not disturb is not on and nothing has helped. This has gone on for 2 months. What is going on with the service?

Can you verify the ZIP Code you're experiencing this issue in?

We definitely want to provide service you can count on, pam2022. My research of the 03106 zip code does not show any alerts. Does your service improve in other areas? Do you know if other Verizon users in the 03106 zip code receive similar service?

Yes are neighbors are having the same issue. I talked to support on Wednesday and I am supposed to be getting updates but have not heard a thing. We thing it is related to the network extender. If support is trying to call us the calls might not be coming through. The best way to reach us is through the email. If it helps the service issue number we received in a text is *************. I would really like to know that status of our issue.
Thanks

If you walk a couple of houses up the street there is better service. However you also run into "dead zones " in a 3 block radius

pam2022, thank you so much for these details. Please share more. How long has this issue been happening? Did you recently move here or get new devices? Just to clarify, are you also experiencing issues with text messages (not iMessages if applicable) and data?

This issue has been going on since Feb when we got the new 4g network extender to replace our old 3g extender that was no longer working. We have lived here for several years so that is not the issue. When we started having the problem in Feb. we thought it might be the phones so we bought new phones. That did not help we still have the same issues: calls going straight to voicemail and text being delayed up to 2 hours or not getting them at all. We are now convinced the worst of the problem is the new Network Extender, if we turn it off we get calls and texts and our neighbors get calls. However that brings us back to dropped calls the reason we got the network extender in the first place! What happened to the service ticket that was supposedly opened for me on March 30 that was supposed to trouble shoot the network extender in 3 to 5 days and send me updates? I had to leave the network extender connected so this could be done. Today I have disconnected the extender because we missed several attempts to call us yesterday about a family member with a medical condition!!! If you cannot fix the situation I would greatly appreciate a refund for a Network Extender that just makes the network here worse!

I appreciate you taking the time to work with us as we want to get things back to normal! Have you had the opportunity to access the Network Extender Admin page and configure the proper settings as seen at https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-204107/?adobe_mc=MCMID%3D0814102923627823093256431985... ?

I don't have a clear network settings button or the backhaul limit box. I tried a factory reset but it is still causing the same issues. Right now I would really like the refund. I will send back the network extender as it is useless to me

Do you have the network extender set for open use?
Also do you have a good signal (cycle through the screens using the button on the side) you need at least 4 satellites
