I’ve been with Verizon for 8 years kept 3/4 lines . 100% sure I’ve been paying bills on time. In the past 8 years I had no problem financing phones. BUT today I went to Verizon store looking to add a line and upgrade . The sales person said there’s nothing they can do until the credit department review and approve my account and they let me sitting there for 3 hours straight calling customer service and they just placed me on hold.

Just my 2 cents here but I find it difficult to believe that a customer wanting to get new phone or add get treated like they need credit worthy clearance so to speak to do so? I question if new customers get that my opinion is you either pick new phone i.e upgrade see if trade in apply and go from there or to add line make needed change and get different bill amount as noted with such line

A store rep just wasted your time. CS has zero ability to change financing limits. Neither do their supervisor, their supervisor's supervisor or the supervisor above them.

Exactly. Those people there were unwilling to help. They had so many excuses. Each customer came they simply gave a random reason let them go home and call*611.

We are so sorry for the experience you have had. We are here to help. Please let us know if you would like to continue to address your concerns. Our store locations do have limited transactions due to the current pandemic. Most locations are appointment only and do not have the ability to address all concerns.
