My phone is not receiving SMS messages from Verizon customers. I use an iPhone, and iMessage works without any issue. I can also send SMS messages to Verizon customers. When someone with a Verizon account attempts to send me an SMS message, however, it does not come through.
This issue started a couple of weeks ago. Since then, I contacted AT&T (my carrier at the time) to troubleshoot. After factory resetting my phone and resetting my network connection, AT&T determined that Verizon had not sent any SMS messages to my phone since the issue started.
I have since changed providers and replaced my phone in hopes that would correct whatever issue was occurring. Neither helped. I have also tried calling Verizon tech support and going into a Verizon store for help. On every occasion I was told that they will not help me because I am not a Verizon customer. When I was in the store, I was able to verify that I did not receive any SMS Messages from Verizon phones.
It seems clear that there is a problem on the Verizon side that is preventing SMS messages from getting to my phone. I would appreciate someone helping resolve the issue.
