For more than six months both phones (iphone 13 and iphone 7) have not been functioning. We cannot make a clear call. It sounds mechanical or "under water". And also drops the call.
We have had so many unsuccessful calls. Two LTE extender boxes to no avail. And customer service reps who never called us back.
I take care of my elderly parents and can not use the phone for any important doctor calls. Verizon says they cannot send someone out to us, but I feel like something is blocking within the house and the outer perimeter of the house. One we get a few miles away, phones are fine.
we have done every possible test 3x over. The rep in the store even changed our SIM cards. No luck.
I am at my wits end. Can anyone in this huge corporation assist?????

We understand how important it is for your devices to function as expected. Thank you for the details that you have shared with us. You shared that once you are away from the house, that the issues are resolved. Surrounding area and buildings can impact call quality. Can you share with us what types of things are in the areas around your home? Where is the extender that is being used placed within the home?

Our surroundings have not changed. We have houses around us in this residential area. Another cell company put some big unit on the corner pole by us, but that has been there for over 5 years. We are not using the extender because it keeps knocking our phones off (does not connect). The only thing I can think of is that Verizon is making updates to the towers and we are suffering from it. We also have full bars. Our phones are not usable and we are wasting money.
We hear other verizon customers complaining about the same issue. Do I need to get the entire neighborhood involved????
