3 days ago anytime someone calls my phone they receive the message, “The number you called has been disconnected, changed, or is no longer in service”. However, I can see when someone is calling, but there is no sound when I answer. I can call out on the phone and my text messages work. I have turned Wi-Fi off to see if there is a problem there, but it all still works. The other family members on the plan don’t have this problem and my bill is not past due. Help! Anyone else ever had this happen before?

Im having the same issue. I tried resetting my phone, updating my phone, turning airplane mode on and off, adjusting my 5G/LTE settings back and forth, and multiple other steps, all of which have failed spectacularly. That’s just the tip of the iceberg with Verizon’s failings as a cell provider this year. Im on the verge of dumping Verizon and I’m in the process of doing my research on who would make a fine replacement.
please fix this, I’m exhausted

Hi, I first had to go through chat-bots, then over to first level live agent support, then over to 2nd level technical agent support before they could fix it. When I asked what the problem was the agent said "Its a known internal problem" and when asked if there would be any reimbursement since I couldn't receive calls, and had to waste 30 min of my morning, the agent simply said no and "unfortunately with technology there will be issues at times and it is not perfect".... But, of course the bill will be perfect. Terrible service from Verizon Wireless. @vzw_customer_support

Being able to receive calls is a big reason for having a phone, and we don't want you to keep having issues. Just to make sure, are you able to receive calls? How do your texts and data perform? Have there been any changes to your account?

I have been dealing with this for years. I have gotten multiple people doing the same help. Now my phone drops calls and what not. I work for a hospital and use my Verizon line for work. Their employees tell me that this situation is non existent however I told them I have proof by videos of people calling my phone. They refuse to give me the legal teams information I’m at the point I feel they could do better for the prices we pay for their services. Verizon has been no help but finally I’m glad I’m not the only one.
verizon should probably figure out what the problem is or let us that have phone payments off the hook to switch to someone that could be more available and use the service that we pay for.
just for the record I do network setting reset at least 8 times a day and my dropped calls are more often then what goes through. I get emails from employees and videos of employees calling my phone to get a disconnect.

Having the same problem! Been on support with Verizon for 3+ hrs just for them to tell me they don’t know why it’s doing that and reach out to someone else. Poor service and assistance from technical support!

Jrw0376, we don't want you to have problems with your incoming calls. Calls are a huge part of your service, and having people be able to reach you is super important. Does this happen when anybody tried to call you or only certain people? When did this start happening?

jcwells88, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Incoming calls are already a big part of a phone's service, and especially so when it's used for work. When did you start having problems with your phone's incoming calls? What troubleshooting did you try?

@vzw_customer_supportif someone's number is showing up as "disconnected" to other callers, is it a CNAM database problem? If the database information needs to be updated for someone's number, this is a Verizon issue.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Same thing is happening to me it is quite frustrating and I am expecting a very important phone call in the next couple of days. Does anyone have any fixes for this yet? To Verizon what seems like a little issue could lose people jobs and money Verizon needs to fix this issue.

We recommend accessing this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile and finding your phone model to troubleshoot your service issues. Please make sure you're signed into your My Verizon account so the troubleshooting is saved. Please keep us updated so we can work through this and make sure a solution is found if troubleshooting doesn't resolve this.
