Why won't the Verizon wireless store (the company store, not an affiliate) in Champaign Illinois perform any customer services besides selling phones? Everytime I go to this location, I am told to call the 800 number for any of my needs. I prefer to conduct buisness in person, as I find there are less mistakes and misunderstandings about what is and is not occurring and if there is a mistake I can speak with the person that made it and not get a random customer service agent when I am connected on the phone. I doubt this thread will do any good but if by chance it makes a difference then I have not wasted my time.
That's a very good question. With Covid, there is even less of an excuse to be lazy on the store level. Instead of pawning customers off to long hold times, they should provide an amazing experience in store.
