It's been over a year since I submitted the issue of poor coverage in the 37301 area of Tennessee. I never received an acceptable solution, I was only told that there is coverage in places within the zip code. That is NOT a solution!
The coverage map indicates coverage over most of the zip code but I can tell you it is very sparse and totally not RELIABLE!
There was recently a dangerous storm that passed thru that area and people were left stranded with no service at all. On a good day you still have to leave your home travel several miles down the road in order to get any service. When trees are down and you can't leave your property there's no way to contact anyone.
I understand Verizon is focused on implementing 5G and claiming to be the most reliable network all while leaving rural areas behind and claiming they DO cover that area.
With locations across the USA you would think you could afford to have someone take a drive out in these areas you "claim" to cover and realize the REAL results. Get off the major highway, interstates, and out of the big cities, visit the rest of the nation. We matter too!
Is the coverage map incorrect or just a marketing tool?
Do you have any plans to establish coverage in this area?

We're sorry to hear about the issues you're still experiencing in your area. We want to make sure you're able to get the service you need during an emergency and while you're going about your day. What exact issues are you experiencing with your service? For example, no signal, dropped calls, slow data?

Most of the time there is no signal. However, when outdoors on a very clear day and out away from any trees there might be enough signal to receive a text message but not to accept or receive calls.
I have tried to use the wifi calling feature to assist in making calls but it does not work. I have tried this at different places around the 37301 area and it does not help.
