Poor network connection

I have been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years and even though they are the most expensive network to have, it has always been worth it to have fast and reliable network. Over the last 4 years I have noticed my service getting worse. Just in the last year, when I'm not on wifi, my phone runs slow and goes into "No Service" and this is creating a big issue. My car broke down and I couldn't even call for assistance. Verizon is no longer worth the money they are charging. Why do I pay the most to have no mobile network?

The last thing we ever want is for any of our customers to have service issues, especially during an emergency. Let's figure out what's going on with your coverage and get you the reliability you're paying for. Do you know if any other Verizon users have the same issues in your area? Where do you usually experience these service issues?
We also have a troubleshooting guide available here that can help you: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile Just find your device, click "Troubleshoot" and find the issue that most closely matches what's going on.

If you give the ZIP code(s) where the problems are occurring, may help the Verizon reps figure out if there are issues with the network there.
Other possibilities are:
-3G was retired 2-3 years ago. If your phone is several years old, time to upgrade.
-Your SIM card is out of date
-Your account may need reprovisioning so you can use all the available current spectrum. This is a problem in areas which recently got 5G which didn't use to have it.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
