Porting my number

We are starting to regret in our choice of Verizon. It’s almost one week when we  decided to choose this carrier. There was no for new customer and we chose an unlimited plan. So what we have: internet is poor, even not alway 5g in the city. And however our payment is higher than it was with previous carrier, we still can’t receive calls because our phone number ‘still porting’. So it’s useless week which we have to pay for. Our previous carrier confirmed the transfer so it’s only from Verizon side. I connected with support of course, and nice guys who really wants to support are the only advantage, as for now. And by the way, when we’re starting the account they asked to send the photo of ssn, isn’t it illegal at all? It’s too private information so we also worry about it too. When we asked ‘what if we won’t send our ssn?’, they said ‘you don’t have to, but we can’t verify your application without it so we won’t be able to continue’. Sounds nice. That’s all that I can say after just 5 days with Verizon. Oh, and if they would like to call me to solve the issue, I will not receive call because my phone number still cannot do it. Great service

p.s. The only thanks to the guy from support, he really did everything for help and probable still works on my issue. It’s only about the connection service
