Hi, I'm traveling to Puerto Rico and I'd like to know if it is still considered domestic for Verizon services. I'm planning to use data roaming while there.

It is domestic roaming in Puerto Rico, but I've heard that your data will be at 2G speeds, which is pretty much unusable for today's apps. How Wi-Fi usage is taken care of, don't know. Usually if you are overseas using Wi-Fi, the foreign ISP passes charges through to Verizon, which is why you'd get billed for Travel Pass or Pay-As-You-Go rates if you don't have the international service plan.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

We hope you enjoy your upcoming trip. Puerto Rico is covered by your domestic services. If you have any future trips out of the country, the below link can help share the best options to keep you connected.
