Question regarding Cell Service

Hello all,

So I currently use a Verizon network extender. I am in a lower level unit of my apartment and with out it I get absolutely no service. The network extender plugs directly into my wifi modem. However, my apartment just announced that they will be getting wifi services for the entire complex that is not optional. When I called and asked if I would have some-type of modem or plug in my unit I was told no.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? I desperately need a way to get some type of service in my own place.

Hello, being on top of your service is crucial, especially if you are managing your Network Extender. Verizon want to clear up all your concerns.

The Network Extender needs to be connected directly to a modem. The LTE Network Extender isn't a router, so it's not Wi-Fi capable.

The landlord won't let you keep your current ISP service?  If not, or they are going to charge you extra for their Wi-Fi service while you still have to pay your current ISP, you may be forced to switch carriers in order to get better cellular service.  There's moving elsewhere, but that's an even bigger hassle...
