Reconnection Fees

Typically I rave about my experience and service with Verizon but lately I am disgusted.  It isn’t enough that I pay a ridiculous amount for service every month but being charged a $20 fee per line for reconnection (even when your phone wasn’t disconnected) is outrageous.  You don’t even have to be more than 5 minutes late and you will be charged. If you set up a payment, guess what, you’ll be charged.  There is no other company I can think of that charges this kind of late fee.  If you are like me and everyone in the family has a phone this can be more than the bill.  I understand, I am at fault for missing the payment but let’s face it, things happen and I have made good on every payment plan so it’s just getting really frustrating and how does it make sense when someone is obviously struggling with a bill that you are going to now make it even harder to get current. It’s sickening.

I also got charged like this! I have 8 devices and they didn’t do what used to happen and just disconnect the main phone number but all devices at once and my bill went from 440 to 711 and that’s just pathetic if you ask me. They are ask for me to stop service with them I mean I hear T-Mobile has a good rep for transferring service to them

I agree! We just got charged $20 for each of our 3 lines. $60 that we don’t have. I guess that’s why venues are named for them…all of these charges, taxes & fees! I’m going to do some research and switch companies. 😡
