How can I report poor coverage? There are widespread coverage issues across the northern section of Midland, Texas (Zip 79705). This is not a rural area. Calls constantly drop and data coverage is all but non-existent. This has been going on for at least the last 2 years, with multiple devices among many members of my family. Thank you

That's 2 years too long and I'm here to help, let's look into this. Does the issue occur indoors and/or outdoors? Does the issue occur with all or specific calls? Please tell me more -Yani

Hi Yani, thank you for your reply. The issue occurs both indoors and outdoors, although Wifi Calling helps immensely indoors. All calls and data connections are affected. I suspect it is due to the huge growth in this part of town... literally thousands of houses have been built in the last few years, and the towers are probably getting too much traffic. My family members have all been very loyal, long-term Verizon customers -- but we may have to consider switching to another provider if we continue to be unable to use our phones in the north section of town. Thank you for researching the issue.

I sent a private message to vzw_customer_support but have not received a response yet. Was that the correct recipient to send to?

I have been leafing through Verizon-based support forums as my dismay grows. When I was with AT&T there was a button right in the mobile app to "report service issues." This would kick off a diagnostic process, that would then send a report to AT&T for analysis.
Verizon has nothing like this - nor is there a link in the app, website, etc to report service issues.
I called VZ Wireless support to report the following:
- I have 4-5 bars and <3Mb data speeds in my neighborhood
- I have had this issue for 4+ years
- I have had this issue across 3 SIM cards and 4 phones
- I walk *two blocks* and the service problem disappears
The agent's answer? "You are close to your data cap (it's a shared corporate plan with no individual cap).
After I repeated the above bulleted points *three times* she finally stopped suggesting increasing my plan...then suggested I buy a repeater (in the age if WiFi calling). When I mentioned that I have the issue OUTSIDE my home all over the neighborhood she didn't have much to offer me...

In case anyone reads this thread and wondered what became of my complaint: @vzw_customer_support asked me to contact them via private message. I did, and they have never responded other than to ask me to verify my name.

I just moved to the North Slope of Bernal Heights in San Francisco, and the coverage is terrible here. Inside my house, I use wifi and it's fine, of course. Outdoors is where the problem is: All over the neighborhood, I consistently get 2 bars, but data, voice calls, and SMS do not go through. I have to go far outside the neighborhood in order for it to switch to a different tower (I guess) before anything will go through. I'm using an iPhone SE (2nd Gen) and have the Start Unlimited Plan. I experience excellent coverage and performance everywhere else I have been in San Francisco. I have done network resets on the phone, and they do not help. Please help, @vzw_customer_support

Thank you for reaching out to us. A reliable service is a must and we are here to help. I rely on my device for almost everything and I would be lost without it. Do you only have issues while at home? What is your ZIP Code and does the service improve outside of the house? ~Roger

Hi again. The zip code is 94110. Like I said in my original message, I'm fine inside my house because I have wifi (except SMS messages, which can't go over wifi, so they fail); as soon as I step outside my house, despite my phone showing 1-2 bars, no calls, messages, or data of any kind go through anywhere in the neighborhood.

I don't mean to hijack your thread here by any means, but I'd like to add another city to this:
Palm Coast, FL (32164 area code)
Same as above reasons; poor coverage and LTE access. Even the local Verizon store has no LTE service outside their booster in-store (and calls are very choppy; hard to understand clearly). My home has a very weak connection as well 5 miles away from the store. Over two year issue here too (we moved here two years ago).

Oh, no! Dealing with service issues can certainly be a headache. No worries, we are here to help. When did the problem start? What recent changes have you made? Aside from the calls, any other issues (texts/data)? ~Gilbert

Service in 44820 has became awful since 5G rolled out. We have 6 lines and they all have no service in lots of our town. Service used to be great. Looks like 5G is not what it should be.

I moved into a new office on Rivulon Blvd in Gilbert, AZ 85297, and the coverage has suddenly dropped to one bar and often my calls drop. The other party cannot hear my conversations. No good.
I have spend $100,000 with verizon over the last 15 years and would like to remain a customer but this is unacceptable. Can you please have someone check this.
We moved here August 2021 and everything started dropping mid-October.

Reliable service is a must and we are here to help you take care of business. We appreciate your being part of our family for at least 15 years and we want to keep it that way for many more years. Please provide us with more information to be on the same page. Are you aware if other Verizon Wireless users are having similar service issues in the new area? Other that the dropped calls, how are the texts and data services working? ~Vic

I like how you question if other wireless users are experiencing similar service issues considering that verizon already knows which areas provide less than optimal coverage.

@vzw_customer_support why act like you care? I am the original poster on this thread, and you did NOTHING to respond to my question. I was asked to PM you with additional information, which I did. And I never received any kind of response whatsoever after several follow-ups.
Other Verizon customers: Don't fall for the responses from @vzw_customer_support -- they are a complete waste of your time.
Now in addition to having awful cellular coverage near my home, I have also wasted way too much time trying to get any kind of information or reaction at all out of this company.
