Samsung Note 4 service issues

Ever since I updated to lollipop my phone keeps loosing service.  It goes from 4G to 3G to 1x to no service.  Once I lose service I restart my phone.  When my phone turns back on I have 4G service.   This happens a few times a day,  and every morning I wake up to no service.

Updates are designed to make your phone perform better so let's get your signal working! Is this happening in one specific location or every where that you use the phone? Have you attempted to reset the SIM since updating ? Power the phone down, remove the SIM for 30 seconds http://spr.ly/65887piA ; then re insert and power the phone back on. Any change?

I turned off my phone and took the SIM card out for 30 seconds. When I turned my phone back on it searched for service then had full 4GLTE bars. About three minutes later its now down to 2 bars and I have not moved the phone. I will keep an eye on it and send back a response if/when I lose service again.

Same issues here. Crap data connection on the "nations fastest network". Useless without an actual connection. It's like having a Ferrari without wheels. My data connection is extremely unstable. It cycles from 4G to 3G to 1X. it's just a constant loop. In the meantime my phone has a huge battery drain trying to lock onto a data signal and streaming anything is nearly impossible.

Every thread I read about this issue, customer support replies with the same canned answers.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Do you get better service outside or at another area?

When did it begin?

Whats your zipcode?

Did you try resetting your sim card?

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

Are your Calls or Text service affected?

I understand trying to pinpoint the problem. But there is never a fix for users to perform nor are there answers to why we are experiencing these issues, just more questions. Even a "we're having issues with device software/firmware and our network" is a better response then questions to our questions/problems. At least we would know why there's an issue.

Does Verizon Wireless Customer Support even have real people? or is it just an auto response bot????

Im having the same problem and im on my second phone. I have spoken to more than a dozen reps in store and over 5he phone.but basically they call me a liar. Because they cannot believe that im having these issues even though i taken countless of screen shots. Im getting my third phone. And hopefully that resolves the problem. But if not. I will terminate the contract and have to pay the etf because if they're system doesn't show an issue we are lying. And the problems never existed.
