Hello all,
I would like to report a complete service dead zone in the Chase Corporate office in San Antonio Texas on Stone Oak Pkwy. There are 3 buildings in this facility, Verizon service is limited to certain spots throughout the property, which include the edges of the parking lot. It has been suggested the building has some sort of signal-blocking technology for security purposes, but I have been informed otherwise by those who are tasked with IT Security at the facility.

It has been suggested the building has some sort of signal-blocking technology for security purposes, but I have been informed otherwise by those who are tasked with IT Security at the facility. Every cellular service provider (large & small) customer in the building will say they have little to no service on the property so the issue is not limited to Verizon. Building A is next to a large stone wall which may contribute to the service issue, however, it doesn't speak to why other areas on the property would also be a dead zone. This has been an issue for the last 7 years I've been working at this property and would appreciate it being looked into. Thank you for your time.
I know how much I rely on my service to work while I am at work myself, something to help break up the day with breaks and lunches. I appreciate you reaching out for help regarding this, ans we're here to help. There are a number of factors that are outside of our control that can impact service indoors, and it sounds like this is happening regardless of provider at work. The best solution would be to utilize Wi-Fi calling to boost your service where it's avaialble indoors. Alternatively, you could have Chase reach out to us and we can explore any enterprise solutions that may be available for the building to improve coverage inside as well.
Here's more info on Wi-Fi calling: https://www.verizon.com/support/wifi-calling-faqs/

If all carriers are dead in this group of buildings, then I suspect there is some kind of technology in place blocking cellular signal for security reasons due to it being a financial institution and said institution does not want to let on what it is for fear it will be circumvented.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

I would like to report a deadline in data coverage for of Marin City, CA. This is a community of 3000 people. This dead zone appears to extend through most of the area where service is extremely poor or nonexistent. Thanks

Hcotran, we always want to make sure that you receive the best available service in your area. Please tell us, when did you first notice connectivity issues in this location? What signal do you typically see on your device when you're in the affected area?

Hello, we noticed this as soon as we moved into the neighborhood. It typically shows one bar of service.

I live next door to chase and have the exact issue in my home or outside. I’m getting only LTE 1 or 2 bars and rarely 5G. Constant dropouts. I even wear a safety pendant that uses Verizon towers in case I fall ill or fall, and recently made a call to this company but the signal was so poor that my call was dropped and I had to redial. This is now putting my health and safety at risk.
There’s 100% a dead zone in the Stone Oak and surrounding areas and it’s been this way the 11 years I’ve lived within these areas. The signal degradation has only worsened over time but especially now, July 2024.
I was told a year ago the reason the Verizon signal is so poor within the northeast part of San Antonio including Stone Oak especially which our population has to be well over 300,,000 but probably more, is Verizon doesn’t have any cell towers within the area.
If true, this is unbelievable and needs to be remedied immediately.
I’ve been a Verizon customer since its inception 24 years now, but I’m afraid I’m being forced to leave to another carrier that has strong signal and towers in a heavily populated area such as Stone Oak.
I’ve attempted to call Verizon several times trying to get ahold of field operations to talk with them about putting up a cell tower in our area and have got absolutely nowhere. The agents are not allowed to transfer to the department so it’s truly a dead issue.
Verizon soon will be “dead” to me. They’re no longer the company they use to be. In fact the majority of their customer service now is overseas and it’s becoming more difficult to even communicate. Talking about a huge disconnect.
