Not only have this company pretty much robbed me but I’ve been with them for 6+ years! First problem that was never resolved is a phone plan being canceled and 8 months later I received a letter in the mail owing them $2000! Contacted Verizon and was told “your plan was never canceled you quit paying” after having a conversation with them a week prior bc I was being deployed I wanted to suspend my plan. But I was out and had to pay or deal with the credit impact. And still use them and very unhappy. I pay $135 a month! For 1 line and I hardly get service in 90% of the places I go! Service is always dropping in and out and at this point I’m over it!

Suspending your line is not the same as disconnecting service. If the line is suspended, you still have an active account and still have to pay the bill. Disconnecting service is completely calling it quits and giving up your phone number so you don't have to pay a phone bill. I have read of other instances of people having to go overseas for an extended period who wanted to keep their US phone number and the only way to do it is to keep paying for some kind of service plan because the vast majority of us do not own our phone numbers (I don't know if you can even buy a vanity number for a cell phone; vanity numbers are a landline thing?).
As for your current service issues, time to ask around as to who works better and switch.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
