According to the coverage map, we should have 4G service at my home. Service has been getting progressively worse and now is 3G with 1 or 2 bars or worse most of the time. We used to be able to go outside to get stronger service and now we don't get stronger service outside. I am wondering if other services are stronger in our area and I am considering exploring a new service provider. Can Verizon fix the service/coverage level in my neighborhood?

I'm so glad you'll feel sorry for the bad service but you never actually sent me a private message?

Hello!
I answered a question that was sent directly to me, but didn't get a reply back. I went back into the email today and the email address no longer worked.
Can someone please help me with my service?
Here is the answer I tried to send today:
I am back from being out of town.
I notice that when I go south about 2 blocks (which is higher than me), service gets better. It is completely strong at about 1/2 mile from the house.
Service has never been great at our home, but we used to only have to come to the front of the house near the windows to hold a phone call. Then we had to go outside and now even outside our calls are garbled and/or dropped. It has been getting progressively worse over the past year.
Do you have suggestions on what we could do to improve service?
Thank you -
Kris

I have advanced this with a service ticket. I received a text saying I would hear back in 24 hours; it has been 3 days. Can someone please tell me the resolution to this ticket - [removed]. My service is still very poor - 1 bar in 4G and 1x most of the time. I will shop other providers if this is not resolved soon.

Oh no! I regret to hear that you have had such trouble in your area. We would be saddened to lose you, kbeisel. I would be happy to go over the ticket information with you. In order to do so, I will have to verify some further information with you. For this, I will send you a Private Message. Please respond to me there.

Wow it's amazing. I thought Virginia Beach 23464 was the only one having issues and to see it's the exact same story a lot of places. I've read through several threads and the answers are "sorry you're having trouble. Use wifi calling or get a 5g phone"
I can agree somewhat though once the new 5g phones are released I will be leaving Verizon.
Verizon went from having the best service with horrible customer service and care to the worst service with the same customer service and care.
I won't fault you guys for everything. It's my fault I stayed with Verizon for 15+ years. I will take my family to another service and hopefully have better luck and if not at least it'll be cheaper.

My data coverage seems slower than ever and phone calls aren't as clear as they should be. I have an unlimited plan and a new moto z4 phone. Zip code 14067. Service was better in 2016 when we first moved here.

Having the service you depend upon when and where you need it most is always a top priority, Heldamania. We want to learn more and help get things caught back up to speed. Are you noticing this issue at a specific location or at multiple locations in the zip code provided? Do you experience issues both indoors and outdoors?
