Slow to no speed in afternoon

Between 1100 and about 1400 I can barely do anything with my phone.

Email, messages, Facebook IM etc... it will work fine throughout the morning and afternoon while at my desk at work but for that three hour period its a nightmare. It shouldn't matter indoors vs outdoors as it works fine any other time except for the stated 3 hour period. As far as WIFI goes.....NO. It's work WIFI and I do not want my phone on the work WIFI, I'm paying for cellular service and expect to be able to use it.

castickle,

Our goal is always to make sure you get speeds you can rely on. I know how crucial that is. There are many factors that impact service and if the service is only having issues during a specific time of day, traffic is likely one of the main ones. Whether it is indoors or outdoors does still matter because signal strength is always based on a variety of factors. The signal may be strong enough at peak conditions to get through the walls, but that doesn't mean the walls aren't a factor in how it performs. Does it work better outside of the building at those times? Do you know if others there are having similar issues?

Hello,

I have been experiencing this issue since I became a customer. I near a big window at work and my phone works fine up until 3:30PM. It gets super slow and I cant stream, listen to music, or anything. It  gets better after 6:00PM. I thought it was just me or where I am located. I think is an issue for alot of people who may just be living with it. I cant. I refuse. Some answers would be very nice. 3hrs of no phone service per day in a 30 is 90 hours a month I dont get to use my phone.

Three hours with no phone is definitely not a good way to be spending your afternoons! Based on what you have told us, that any other time it works fine, we can conclude that your phone might be getting deprioritized due to the congestion of the network during that time frame. To see what is causing this deprioritization and to get it resolved for you we will need more information. We will be sending you a Private Note for more assistance.

I experience slow speeds during the day as well. I can get 30-50Mbps download at night. But, I am lucky to get 1Mbps download during the day.

I rely on my data connection to be consistent throughout the day, especially when I need it the most jhollister. This certainly sounds like congestion on the network during peak times, and the experience can be affected by your plan (Premium Unlimited vs. Unlimited with prioritization). Let's take a deeper look into this and find the root cause, and a solution. I've sent you a private note to gather some more details.
