Sent the question below on Saturday, and was sent a direct message by a VZW employee that day. However, no further progress or communication since that direct message where I was told the issue would be looked into. Can someone please get in touch and advise what progress if any has been made towards resolving this?
I modified my order for a 16GB iPhone 6 today in order to purchase a 64GB model instead. The new ship date is Oct. 14th. The agent (who was very professional and helpful) advised that the 1GB additional data promo (pasted below) provided with my initial purchase requires activation of the new phone by the end of September. That will be impossible, as the ship date of the revised order is Oct. 14th. The agent tried to see if he could accommodate me, but was unable to do so as he did not have the authority to make such a decision. He provided me with a contact email, but it was an invalid email address. It does not seem fair that I would be penalized by losing the opportunity for this promo as a result of my spending additional monies with Verizon. Can anyone at VZW resolve this for me?
