I upgraded my Verizon plan a couple of months ago. An upgrade means just that. You keep what services you have but now pay more because you have additional services. It doesn’t mean you lose a service - which is what happened.
my old plan had the mobile hot spot included. I was told it would be included with the upgrade.
at the worst possible time, I needed to use that mobile hot spot and discovered I did not have it as part of my new and upgraded plan
of course I called. A credit was issued. I was told that I would not be charged for this mobile hot spot.
Now every month I am being charged for the mobile hot spot. And every month I have to call. Every call I am told this is not part of my new upgraded plan. I have to argue every month to get this taken off my bill. This month Verizon threatened to not issue the credit. Ha. Really?
On top of that I am getting late charges added due to this $10 remaining on the bill
I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 20 years. It is painfully obvious after reading these other community forum posts that this is fraud. Misleading and false advertisements.
I will be going to AT&T as soon as possible. Verizon you just lost a customer. Good for you.

What was the old plan and what plan did you switch to? Have you considered changing your plan again to one with the mobile hotspot feature included?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Terresa We're sorry to read about the experience you've had with your upgrade and changes to your plan. Were you made to change your plan when you upgraded? ~Peter
