We ported 4 lines and were told we would receive a rebate for a $200 Verizon gift card for each line but they never came through. We called and left a support ticket and no one got back to us. We added a new line 2 months later (still hadn’t gotten word on the previous rebate) and got another $200 gift card offer and made sure the rebate was on the receipt this time. We called for the promo code today and the support person said that the rebate was expired (the next morning!!)
On the phone with the customer support now and they are claiming they don’t see the rebate on their end even though it’s in the signed document agreeing to add the new line and acknowledging the plan changes. It’s crazy.
They’re going so far as to say they don’t even see my chat with the person who added the line for us last night. Good thing I took screenshots of all of it. This is ridiculous. Wish I knew what I nightmare this company was before switching. Never had issue like this with T mobile.
just goes to show you shouldn’t make a switch based of promotions and word of mouth alone.
