Verizon Apple Music Playing but some features blocked?

So our plan recently upgraded to allow 4 of us to have Apple Music, which for everyone else works perfectly fine. On my own device, IPhone 11, Apple Music will play, but any of the other features related to my Apple account are disabled, for example clicking on my “profile” in the for you page, it mistakes me for not having Apple Music, suggesting to either redeem a code or purchase it... I basically just want to view my friends playlists but I can’t if my “account” isn’t set up/I don’t “own” Apple Music
