I too am experiencing extremely slow uploads using verzion cloud. I am uploading pics from my iphone 12 pro and it takes about 30-45 minutes to upload one picture now. At the start it uploaded about 80% of my pictures within just a few minutes. Then uploading slowed to a near halt and I have only been able to upload 23 pictures in the past day and half.
Verizon cloud is a big failure in my view and is part of why Verizon charges so much for their data plan for 5G.
You are better off using Amazon Cloud for storage of pictures/videos; it works great, fast, and seamless.

That is definitely not the experience we want you to have with Verizon Cloud. Please tell us, how much memory space do you have on your new device? Are you connected to Wi-Fi?
PC upload is rather slow too. I hardly see the backup client using more than 20Mbps on my 1Gbps fiber. It does seem to reach higher speeds with larger files such as video as opposed to smaller photos or documents. It would be very helpful if the backup client ran several threads and uploaded more than one file at a time. I'm trying to upload 45,000 files of mixed photos, videos, music, and documents and it looks like it's easily going to take several days. Very slow performance compared to other options.
I ma so sorry to hear of any issues with your uploads. Are you doing this wirelessly or through a tethered cable? Any error messages or warning? AlbertoR_VZW
I'm also seeing very slow downloads. I am trying to pull my data off the cloud to archive, and copying 9 files for 2MB never finished I canceled it after waiting 20 minutes.
Looks like I’m going to have to pay for iCloud as Verizon cloud is unbelievably slow. Google, Shutterfly, and iCloud are all faster by far. 197 pics/videos in about 4 hours on 5-G wireless on my phone? No thanks. First “complaint “ I’ve had about anything from Verizon.
