Most credit cards are plastic and weigh 0.1 oz. The Verizon Visa card is METAL and weighs 0.6 oz. I have a light waller that is only 3 oz full. Now it's 3.5 oz. THANKS Verizon.
Called Synchrony customer service and they are sending a plastic card instead and a way to return the heavy metal card for destruction.
Update: They sent another metal card. This time when I called Synchrony customer service, they said there is no choice to get plastic instead. Apparently this is a Visa policy for their "Signature" cards. Bummer!
