Like many before me, I'm getting the run around with my Verizon dollars. Synchrony passes me off to Verizon and Verizon passes me off to Synchrony. This is not a new problem. 6 months and over 600 dollars not able to use. Verizon is about to lose another customer

I found the time to chat today with both verizon and Synchrony - both passing the buck as you note. At one point, I asked Synchrony if both sites have the same web development team. The information on the Synchrony website is blatantly false. Did this use of my precious time solve anything? no ... the answer is no. It only raised my BP.

Lies? Lies raise my BP. Lies are the issue I have with the Verizon Dollars. Here is what I see in the credit card account.
I click the image and it is a lie.
Where are the gift cards that I can acquire?
The only thing I can use the dollars for is my bill and even trying to do that has been a challenge the last 2 months.

We want to do all we can, and we certainly want to make sure that you're able to take advantage of your Verizon Dollars, maggymaesmith. Please tell us, what exactly happens when you click on the shop option within the image you shared? To clarify, are you still experiencing issues trying to use the Verizon Dollars to pay your bill?

When I click on the banner image it takes me to the Verizon shop page. There is nothing about rewards on the link. The IMAGE I clipped states there is gift card redemption. If you REALLY want to help, send the link for the gift card redemption page. Otherwise, tell the synchrony web team to update the page with accurate information or there will be a fraud complaint to the FCC.
In regard to using my Verizon dollars for my bill. I was on chat with Verizon the last time I tried to pay the bill. I could not get into the screen to pay the bill. Then I contacted support on twitter. No one could help. I kept trying all day and was finally able to open the bill payment page and apply the verizon dollars. 2 months ago I applied verizon dollars to my bill. The website acknowledged that I applied the dollars and still billed my credit card. I haven't received the new bill so I cannot apply verizon dollars,. Therefore, I cannot tell you if I have the problem right now.

No worries, whenever you have a bill to pay, please let us know and we can take a look together. We definitely want to make sure this gets resolved. As far as the gift cards, give us a second while we take a look.

As noted - I was chatting with Verizon support while I had the issue. They could not resolve it. sigh

I was able to find some information about the redemption for gift cards in the Verizon Visa Card FAQ's here: https://www.verizon.com/support/verizon-visa-card-faqs/ The info is under Earning & using Verizon Dollars. #10 under that header will have the info you're looking for.

Seriously? I've tried the listed steps before. Those instructions DO NOT WORK. I have reported it to them and asked them to fix their website.
