If you decide to pay off your phone in full they will remove all promotions! They basically took my S10+ phone trade in for my note 10+ and told me i forfeited everything buy doing that. I didnt receive a warning or document stating that. they wont return my old phone and they basically took away the 450 bucks that was promised from the trade in. ive been on the phone for over an hour trying to get this resolved. Finally they offered me 300 bucks for the phone they had already taken. But...it gets worse! I went to another carrier to switch and verizon automatically after 2 minutes block/locked my phone from being able to switch providers. Verizon sent a text message to my phone stating it will not change carries and to call verizon. I called and they stated that it was already unlocked and to call samsung. samsung of course said verizon has to unlock it. went to the verizon store and the manager said it wont work because each carrier have different tower networks....but all phone are GSM so how is that true? so they basically stole all of my money and provided me with terrible signal and service since i joined. I will never recommend or spend a dime at verizon again.

You broke eligibility, how is that Verizon's fault? You signed an agreement where Verizon credits you so much each month for 24 months. Paying early breaks this agreement -- it'd be the same if you did this at any other carrier. You think a carrier will give you discounted equipment without wanting anything in return? You get lower equipment cost, they get 2 years of service out of you.

ok fine then give me my old phone back. better yet why not unlock my new phone that so that i can go to another carrier. you are trying to only justify one issue. to be honest the main issue is im stuck with a phone that i fully paid for and can only use on verizon.

Read the Verizon Wireless Device Unlocking Policy.

You are not reading the terms and conditions of the trade in promotions at T-Mobile either. I suggest you check again.

On 2 different occasions I have inquired about data plans and been told services will not diminish and extra charges will be minimal. Both times, Verizon customer service lied and told half truths to get me to switch. They will not revert plan to previous service level and rates. Verizon teaches good people how to lie, cheat and steal just like Wall Street brokers.
