I hate Verizon's customer service. I called so many times to keep direct to digital assistance.
Verizon never mentioned, if you pay off your phone, you won't get your promotion credit back.

We're disappointed to learn you have lost your promotional credits, totoro1787. Paying off a device payment early would remove any promotional credits being applied. All promotional credits, require that you keep the device payment for 24-months. You got a monthly discount that's clearly visible on the bill. What made you believe you were going to keep getting device promo credits tied to a loan that doesn't exist anymore?
That's not Verizon being a "liar", that's something you should have asked support first before doing anything.
