Verizon locked 2 of my phones that i brought to verizon from a previous provider and owned myself. After nearly 4 weeks of active service and me sending in a copy of my driver's license more than once and a photo of myself prior to the home internet model being shipped and 2 other times prior to our phones being activated, so that's 3 times I verified my identity and have since went into two different verizon stores, one corporate one not and presented my driver's license and verified my identity. I've called countless times, spike with over 100 representatives in multiple departments even spent nearly an hour and a half of the phone with a gentleman who assured me he had worked everything out and my internet and phones would be reactivated and working before I got home, yet nothing, instead after speaking to him two devices worth over $2000 together purchased by my son and daughter in law through another carrier we're locked and cannot be used with any carrier not even verizon & although I've proven who I am they refuse to unlock the phones and even refuse to tell me what's going on or why after nearly a month they all of the sudden disconnected my home internet and phones and locked my devices. On top of everything else I received an email saying saying my bill was ready. A bill for over $350 that I can't even log in to view, haven't received a paper bill and no one will tell me what the charges are for, mind you I'd already paid them $80 that I was told I wouldn't get back, because of the situation, the what?? The situation, that they created and will not tell me why after verifying my identity at least 3 times at this point they all of the sudden can't validate my identity, block me from logging in to view my account or the over $350 bill they sent me!!!!!!! During one of the many many many calls to Verizon I was told that I'd been approved to open anothet account since that one was deemed fraudulent, but before i could do that I'd have to take care of my past due balance, umm excuse me, what?? are you serious is what came to my mind, but before I could ask anything about the Balance I was transferred to the recovery department where I asked the lady to please correct me if I'm wrong, but if the account was decided to be fraudulent how could they hold me responsible for the charges?? Umm they can't, so at this point I walked back into the store where I'd went to verify my identity for the 4th time and ask the sales representative if she could tell me what the charges were for and wouldn't you know it it now showed a zero Balance and wouldn't allow her to see what the charges were and when I called Verizon cs back the lady that answered also couldn't view the charges and the next day I miraculously received the $80 back that they said I wouldn't get because of the situation, SMH I used to be a huge Verizon fan, used them for many years, but NOW I wouldn't use them or recommend Verizon to anyone if they were the last carrier available. This has been a nightmare, I've had to purchase new phones, because they locked ours and we lost use of over $2000 worth of paid for phones brought with me to verizon already paid for, fmy son and I and go without internet that he needs for school and we need to watch TV, etc for over a month, rude customer service reps that wouldn't tell me anything or offer any Suggestions on how to verify my identity and continue to refuse to unlock our devices, ugh never ever again will I use Verizon it has such to the lowest worst company ever.
