Verizon steadily declining in quality over the past decade

Verizon has been mobile service provider for over a decade, almost 12 years now. Throughout that time my experience has been satisfactory, overall. They used to have best in class customer service, now it’s practically laughable. Good luck trying to get help with your bill in an actual storefront, it’s impossible. They refer you to call customer care #. When you call, you get directed to the app. When you try schedule a call, it’s not same day. When you use their chat, you have to wait, just as if you were waiting on a phone call. They charge you to take payment over the phone now. I find if I have to interact with Verizon about my service, it’s a minimum 1-2 hour ordeal. Absurd the amount of self service they expect paying customers to employ. Other providers are being explored to replace this service as I have grown tired of the unwillingness Verizon has to make it easy for customers to receive assistance with their accounts. Several of my friends have already swapped providers, I am, as it seems, the last of a dying breed of die hard Verizon supporters. All good things come to an end.
