I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Covid-19 has pretty much wiped me out. To the tune of $-17 in the bank. That's right, negative 17 dollars. And I'm about to be disconnected by Verizon.
The stimulus checks are about to go out. How do we keep service until they do, and we can catch up on our bills? Geez, it's just a couple or three weeks away the news says. If I'm disconnected, I won't be able to hit the IRS site to fill out the form to get the check in the first place. I don't get the check auto deposited. I have to go fill out a form and the site isn't even open yet. It looks like I'm going to be disconnected first.
There has to be others in the same situation, Surely they aren't disconnecting everyone who is struggling during this crisis. If they do, they're going to be losing customers in droves as people are unlikely to stay with them afterwards.
