There used to be an online map where we could enter a zip code and see whether there is a service outage in the area that would affect us. This appears to be hidden or removed. I tried chatting with online agents and would have achieved more asking my shoe. They were obsessed with getting my account information to view my account. My account is not past due, my phone worked in a previous town but doesn't work here. I just wanted to know if there was an outage. I work inside a steel building so I cannot call like they kept telling me to. I have access to a computer and wanted to look at it for myself and if nobody reported anything I wanted to report an outage. Epic failure by chat agents. They kept leaving the chat instead of telling me where I could view an outage map. Evidently they lacked the courage to tell me they no longer have that option available for those of us who pay hundreds of dollars monthly for terrible customer service.

I've been a VZW customer for 15+ years and I have never seen an outage map. A coverage map, yes, but not an outage map.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
