I’ve used Verizon almost 20 years. Suddenly, in the past couple months, my service is slower and I saw fees added to my bill. When I call the number I have been calling on occasion for almost 20 years, I CANNOT reach a person. It seems like an error that the call ends after the automated run around, but it happens each time. I have to ask — is this how it will be forever after? The customer service used to be good, a reason why I kept paying too much for cell service. Can we complain enough that Verizon pivots back to decent?

*611 has proven to be a waste of time. Why is your service becoming such junk? I've been a customer since 1992 and, for the first time, I'm contemplating shopping around because of your inconsistent and poor service. It's not just me either. I know service people who experiencing problems with Verizon service.

Both my husband and I have terrible cellular connection when we are at home. We have been to Verizon store x3, we have called and messaged. No answer from Verizon as to why. We had no problems at home until 4-5 months ago. Have to leave our home for calls. Asked about a booster and was told it may not help as was a connection problem. But we still pay the same with terrible service when we are home

We definitely understand the importance of your service working the way it used to, and we can certainly try to assist.
In order to use a Network Extender you would need to have an internet connection from a broadband or cable company that meets some minimum requirements you can find that information here:
https://www.verizon.com/support/4g-lte-network-extender-faqs/ under #5
"The 4G LTE Network Extender works with connections that provide a minimum broadband speed of 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. However, a broadband connection of 20 Mbps downlink or 10 Mbps uplink or higher is recommended"
Does the local service provider have these speeds? Do you also experience service issues with Wi-Fi Calling?

We are experiencing the same problem.
I ended up demanding an extender! I went through 3 representatives that all told me that I should look for alternative coverage, and finally got a person that understood business and agreed to send an extender. I received it yesterday and set it up. Our coverage went from 1 bar to 4! Now I have to wish for the coverage outside of out house to at least go back to what it was a year ago.

Internet service has been non usable Saturdays and Sundays around 6 a.m. to 3-5p.m. regardless of how many service bars are shown and it's been happening for MONTHS!!!! Tried reaching help several times about it and just recently reached someone who said try back Saturday (when I won't be able to because no Internet will work)

I couldn’t agree more! I’m in iowa and have noticed in two areas where I have little or no service.
used to be fine in said areas…one day I was so frustrated, I called to see if there was a tower issue/outage. The gal was nice but said it was basically a coverage gap…almost to say as if it was to be expected? Nothing would be done to improve.
Paid a lot over the years for svc…that’s getting worse! the infrastructure should be better by now!!!

The exact same thing is happening to me. On Saturday and Sunday starting several months ago my phone shows verizon signal but won't load anything from about 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I agree that their infrastructure has gotten worse! They make billions and should've made it 100x better by now! It's disgusting the way verizon is now

I'm having the same problem in San Diego. I've always had full bars almost every where I traveled except for remote areas. For the last few months I'm only getting 1 or 2 bars every where in the county. I called Verizon and they are updating the towers (switching from 3G to 4G&5G) which is causing this problem. Hopefully this is only growing pains and we will be back to better coverage soon!

I wouldn't count on it. They are falsely adding items to their notes attached to your account. For the past 3 years I have been having an ongoing battle with them telling me one thing and the opposite happens. They attached a date to the notes on my account for when a credit will appear. Even though the supposed recorded phone calls say other wise. So they pushed my credit back a month. I just know it will not show and someone new will ad another false note. They have no customer service now at all.

Same problem in Oregon. Verizon service in my town city limits has been terrible for almost the past year. Especially on the weekends.
Outside of city limits it’s fine. It seems very intentional. Like they throttle the data in the city. I can’t even listen to music anymore while driving in town.
This is making me consider finding a diff service provider and dropping Verizon.

Toovee23, I rely on my phone for many tasks, so I know how urgent a resolution is to keep you connected with Verizon. We are here to work toward a resolution. How are other services, such as calls and text working? Are the problems indoors or outdoors?
