I have a Samsung Galaxy 21+ and when I try to return calls to local numbers it is showing that I am trying to make international calls. It has happened multiple times to different numbers in the last week. Is there a glitch with the latest update?

It's some kind of formatting error. Does it still happen if you dial 1, then the area code, then the phone number?
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hey there, MattWhistler85, we want to ensure you're able to make calls without a problem! When did this start happening? Are you receiving this message with every call you try to make? When placing calls, are you using a 10-digit dialing pattern?

this is happening often when i make calls. Additionally, I often am told recently that I have an echo on calls, especially when I have it on speaker phone. I don't know if those are related.

I was also getting the same message. I think I had wifi calling on. I turned it off, so far it seems to be working fine now.

I am having the same problem. I call back a number IN THE SAME CITY and I'm told I'm calling an international number and I may be charged extra. How do I fix this? I've only had the S24+ for a week and this has happened twice.

Hey there, pampalmer60, we want to help ensure you are able to make calls. When did this issue start? Is this happening with particular numbers? When calling the number, is it going to a 10-digit number?
