My Story began in October of 2022. My family purchased several phones from this particular Wireless Zone location. I dealt with the "owner" who made promises and had offers that were very attractive. It turns out they were too attractive. On one of the phones, an iPhone, we were told that the promotion was $849 for the phone. I agreed to purchase the phone for my daughter. She did not want me to be saddled with a monthly fee to pay for the phone so we tried to pay it in full at that time. *** said no problem and billed us $395 for the balance of the phone after her trade in allowance and tax. My daughter put the charge on her visa. We found out months later after checking the breakdown on my bill, that I was still making $11 monthly payments to cover the cost of the phone. Many weeks worth of phone calls to Verizon only left them saying it was not up to them. They had no record of any $395 dollar payment. It had to be handled from the original purchase store because it was not an actual Verizon Company Store. Hari never sent the money to Verizon. He never applied the $395 to the payoff of the phone. He applied it to an additional downpayment of $200, $60 simcard fee, $60 processing fee and $75.08 in taxes. When I questioned *** from Wireless Zone he said there was nothing he could do about it because he changed carriers and was no longer a TCC store. Weeks of phone calls later we are still $320 in the hole. I get the $75.08 in taxes but the other fees are garbage. I can't do anything about this now. I just advise others to check your invoices carefully, shop in an actual Verizon Company Store, and don't believe anything *** tells you.

Verizon Wireless, what are you doing about this? Are you really allowing these Wireless Zones to sca_m your customers in your name?? Seems like this is not a one time thing that they do. Might be time to get the lawyers involved.
