Economy is going to be soft for the next 10 years, should they charge 5 bucks for unlimited text 5 bucks unlimited web rather then the 40 unlimited web 15 unlimited text
VERIZON??? $5 bucks??? Unlimited ANYTHING??? You can't be serious. My fees and taxes alone are $8 bucks.
Just because the economy is soft doesn't mean businesses have to give everything away dirt cheap to the economically distressed just to be understanding, compassionate, and nice. After all, are we a Capitalist country or aren't we? In business, PROFIT is everything, and the higher the profit MARGINS, the better the investors and CEO's like it. With 100 million customers, they COULD charge $5 for unlimited everything and still make a profit, but their MARGINS would be peanuts. As it is their margins are at 50% and going higher every quarter. And no way are they going to jeopardize that for the sake of compassion for economic hardships of their paying customers.
Sure the economy stinks, but I can't realistically expect corporations to give away the farm because of it.
$5 would be nice... but I highly doubt it will happen.
