I received a defective replacement phone through Assurion i n May (now June). Magnetic sensors do not recognize when phone is closed. Assuring will not replace defective phone as, apparently, defective must be reported within 7 days. It is not as if I am trying to obtain a new phone for the sake of gettinga new phone, I just wanted a replacement that works properly.

Replacement devices issued by Asurion include a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from Asurion. This covers any hardware defects on a replacement device.

Can it be repaired, if you can't get another replacement?
