Umbrella/mushroom effect. Signal goes out, not down in a vertical direction.

lakecountry,
I am sorry to hear of the sudden change in signal. What zipcode are you having these isseus in? Do you have issues with voice/text/data? Has anything changed in the area since this issue started (construction, storms, etc..)?

lakecountry,
I appreciate these details. I do see that parts of your area are extended coverage however since you have just recently started having issues I would like to dive a little deeper. Do you notice an improvement with service as soon as you step outside? What are the different types of devices that are haivng the service issues? I understand this may be a tower issue, however the type of devices is really helpful.

lg fuel, 2 old lg flip phone, 3 old samsung flip, 2 iphone 6, samsung galaxy, 2 ipad mini and an lg optimus. Like I said everybody in town are having this issue. Today was good example I had 1 bar at home(4 miles from tower and using a booster) where I was getting 5 bars 2 weeks ago, went up to town right next to tower and only had 2 bars, used to be 5. Left town got 6 miles south of town and had 3 bars gradually going up to 5 bars when I got to next town 18 miles away. this was on my lg fuel.

I appreciate the additional information provided lakecountry. I was able to dig a little deeper into the area you are experiencing difficulties in. I verified this is an area with variable coverage. Verizon Wireless is always looking to expand coverage. However, at this time we do not have any information on coverage expansion in this area. You may click, www.vzw.com/4GLTE for coverage updates.
Thank You,

I have the same problem. Went from 4-5 bars and 4G to 1 bar and maybe 3g. Went through the same routine as you with support and told I'm in a variable coverage area. Same house for 15 years. So how did I suddenly end up in a variable coverage area? I keep asking Verizon this and get no good answer.

Yup just the same old questions but never have any solutions. The worse part is that they usually don't read your post. They ask for information that you already provided in your first post.
- Do you restart your phone??
- Did you do a factory reset??
- Did you pull the SIM card out and reinsert it??
- Are all your apps updated??
- Did you try going outside and standing on your head?? (Joke)
Same old script that makes people so frustrated and fed up with Verizon. Sometimes I wish they would be honest and just tell us "They don't care".

You figure that the amount you paid for service through them they won't have to be so unfocused honest and truly genuinely help you out with problems without haven't been jumping through hoops of fire pulling your un-burnt hair out b4 you finally get to the right person who maybe cares about you or knows how to actually fix you problem not a dumb ass who can't even figure out how to run their worthless website and funny about that is they ask you for a survey on it and I told them that it sucked ass and they still have a role set up saying that changes are in the process on it lol really appreciate it Verizon lucky you have me financially locked by contract or I would have told you where you can stick you service or lack if good service
