spoonkookies,
I know it's very important to have your phone protected in the event that something happens to it. While Verizon Wireless does not offer insurance coverage for Prepaid phones at this time you may still be able to purchase it through a third party.

Many credit card companies and banks offer device insurance when you use their cards to pay your wireless bill. We would recommend contacting your credit card company or bank to find out if they offer insurance if you pay your wireless bill with their card. Also, If you Google search "Phone insurance you can buy" there is a list of companies that offer insurance for new and used phones. CassieG_VZW
