I recently switched to Verizon and now my girlfriend who has T-Mobile is not able to see texts from me. I can see them from her and the phone rings both ways. I've restarted my phone and her phone, i've tried to delete all messages from her and even deleted her contact and dialed her number to receive messages but she can't see texts from me. I've been on hold for 42 minutes on the phone via 611 who hasn't checked in with me since being put on hold. I'm thinking I made a HORRIBLE mistake by switching from T-Mobile who has FAR SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!. I've had nothing but trouble with Verizon's customer service--by far the worst. NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!

What kind of phone does your gf have? What kind of phone do you have with Verizon? What kind of phone did you have with T-Mobile?

It is just as likely to be a problem with your gf's service as it is with your service. You should also try contacting T-Mobile from her line.

Chances are that BOTH services will deny being the problem.

I'very seen this issue all over Google and it seems to always have that same response but it'seems not the issue. I'll call them since I'm the account holder.
Is there a way I can speak with someone at Verizon without having to be put on hold? I waited over an hour last night just for the representative to tell me he would have to open a ticket. Absolute unacceptable.!!

I know it's important to make and receive messages, especially to and from your girlfriend! Is this a new issue? Are you able to receive/send messages to other numbers too, or is it just your girlfriend's number? Please share some additional details with me, so we can work on a resolution for you.

Haha!!! I find it ironic that I'm complaining about poor customer service and how it takes too long to get service and TWO DAYS LATER I finally get a response from Verizon.
To answer your question--ever since I signed up with Verizon.

Thanks for your patience. I know this issue has caused a lot of frustration. We'd love to help find the root cause. Are you using a third party texting application? Have you tried the Verizon Messaging application? If not, please test and let us know of results.
