I'm so sorry to hear you are having issues in the zip code, leeezer. We are here to help. When did this begin? Does service improve outside? Any other Verizon customers having similar issues?-Joe

it does get a bit better outside, but still have to walk a block or two away to get decent service in the area. it is so bad in my house sometimes even on wifi I am not getting text messages coming through. it's been this way since i moved in in feb 2024. both my roommates have t-mobile and have no problems. my sister has verizon and has lost service every time she comes over to visit. once connected to wifi it gets better, but still very glitchy.

I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem indoors. I recommend Wi-Fi calling or a network extender. You can leatn all about it here: https://www.verizon.com/support/4g-lte-network-extender-faqs/ -Joe

i said i was having the problem outside too. and that i need to walk almost 2 blocks away from my house to get service. additionally i already pay for the 1gig internet service from verizon for the wifi inside. i have no problems with any devices in my home and neither do my roommates. this includes multiple smart tvs or devices and laptops. additionally they have no problems with service inside. i shouldn’t have to be connected to wifi to have cell phone service in my own home. verizon should have service in my home. a net extender will not help me outdoors. can you just admit there is nothing you will do as verizon is a mediocre service if it cannot maintain similar service levels in and across a major city.

We certainly understand the importance of having coverage where you need it, and I know how disruptive it would be for me if I was having the same experience at home, leeezer. There are a number of factors outside of our control that can impact the wireless signal, which is why we cannot guarantee coverage indoors. Based on the experience that you've described it sounds like this extends to your neighborhood, but service improves as you leave the area. The only immediate solutions we can offer for this type of experience would be Wi-Fi calling, or the usage of a Network Extender (Wi-Fi calling is often better due to the range of most Wi-Fi networks). I hope this helps to add some additional clarification regarding the solutions we have to offer, for some immediate help.

the extenders are actually causing all these issues with Verizon and they refuse to admit it.
The extenders force a dns of 0.0.0.0 for all connections.

I bought my house in the same zip code in March and have had the same problem since moving here. Insult to injury, the internet (I also have the 1gig) has been going out. Useless. Good to know about T-mobile, thanks for the heads up. That’ll save me rime deciding which provider to switch to
