Verizon is actively ripping off customers. Review your bills carefully, especially after a phone upgrade where a trade in and bill reduction is promised. We bought a new phone in Dec 22, it never arrived. Finaly after weeks of dealing with Verizon they sent it "again" in January. We returned the old phone for a trade in and got confirmation of receive by Verizon in Feb, 2023. In Oct, 2023 we reviewed our bill and noted the trade-in reduction was never put on our bill so wehad been consistently over charged for months.
I spent 4 hours on the chat, until 1am, with 3 representatives. At first, the offer was to upgrade our plan and charge us more! Finally, they agreed to proper credits for our current plan.
Let's see if we get them. Basically, had I not review the the bill Verizon would still be overcharging and if i wasn't insistent that they give us what was promised we would be up sold. It is fraud plain and simple. To be clear, Verizon finally honored the original deal (with no compensation for the 4 hours it took me to get it). But I can't help but wonder how many unsuspecting customers are being overcharged?
