verizon email address

When I first got my phone, I was able to email something to a verizon email address and it went to my phone.

Does anybody know what the email is? It was something like phone-number@verizon.com. But that doesn't work.

I think it was phonenumber@vtext.com

There should be more of a explanation under the messaging header at the top of the website. It would be under texting from the web or something like that.

Sorry this subject is not an area I use a lot.

try verizons  the 10 digit number @vtext.com this is just a guess

Yep and if you want to send a photo from your email it's yournumber@vzwpix.com making sure to use your full 10 digit number no spaces.  Mary

aha! That email addy rings a bell. What I was sending was actually a ring tone. The vtext works for text, but vzwpix is what sounds like I used for the ringtone.

Yep that's what it is for ringtones, vzwpix and make sure they are 30 seconds or less or they won't go through.  Mary

Just to clarify: This will send text msgs of 15-200 chars as a text to your mobile phone from an email account.  It isn't an email address available using an email app on the internet. At least that's my experience.
