There are thousands of people in the area I live and more coming every day but I cant seem to get anyone, including my local county commisioners (who claim ignorance) to tell me about why another cell tower hasn't already been added to this area in decades.
Please tell me which department at Verizon where I can send a letter, petition, etc. to plead for relief? Who at Verizon can tell me the history of what has already been done or attempted and why or if things fell through? Surely there must be some solution to this problem. It's a real safety issue for those of us living here with unreliable service. It's also absolutely maddening. I had to order a landline just so i can call Verizon for service issues with my cell phone. ugh.

indigogirl13, I completely understand wanting to see additional coverage and new towers in the area. We're always looking to expand our network, and improve coverage and get more coverage for people. If there's a location in your area that wishes to host a network site, then I highly recommend visiting this page: https://www.verizon.com/business/support/retail-real-estate/
Under the 'Submit a Network Real Estate Site' section, you'll see the requirements for a Network Real Estate site, and a form 'Real Estate Inquiry Form' (underlined) you can submit. There's also details of the evaluation process.
Definitely review this page and submit the form, if there's a site interested in hosting one of our tower locations.

Thanks. But your reply did not answer my question. What do we do about it if we don't know of a host site and still need coverage? Why does verizons coverage map claim there is coverage here when there isnt any? WHAT DEPARTMENT PLEASE.
