Hello, I have a few questions regarding adding a droid to an existing family plan.
First off my parents own a family line with 3 lines on it, all regular phones. I'm planning to add myself onto their line, but instead I want the droid to be my phone of choice. So my question is, is how much do I have to pay to get the droid? I know the droid right now sells for $199 with a new 2-year, but best-buy currently sells the droid for $99 with a new 2 year. I'm trying to go the best buy route for they have the better deal.
So I know the only fee's to pay are the $9.99 fee for adding another line onto the family plan, and an extra 30 for the data (which is not a problem) but how much would I actually have to pay for the droid?
Would I go about signing a new 2 year for the invdividual droid line to get the special discounted droid pricing? Would that be possible?

I too have a family share plan of three lines and I added my droid last year, purchased at best buy. You can purchase the Droid at best buy for the $99 price and have it added to your family share plan, as long as the account holder is with you and initiating the purchase. When that line is added it will have its own 2 year contract as each line on an account is bound to its own contract. As for the monthly costs, you are correct. As long as the family share plan is not an unlimited family share plan, then your line would be $9.99 extra plus $29.99 for unlimited data. Hope this helps! You will love the Moto droid.
