Your ad showing 2 blubbering, crying women is very disturbing. Please take it down. Can you say fingernails on a blackboard? I swear it makes me want to cancel my service.

I think annoying would be a better description. But, I'm sure others like it, so just change the channel.
It could be worse. For example does anyone remember the AT&T "I should have married John Clark." one?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I agree, Demmo. Some people just need to grow up and quit complaining about the little things in life.

(A) Haven't seen the ad, so can't comment on that.
(B) This is more a user-to-user tech forum than a general Verizon suggestion box, so there's not much point registering a complaint about a commercial here.
(C) OTOH -- tremontij, people can't express their opinions? Or are only allowed to have a certain range of opinions about a specified list of topics? If you've got the list, brother, please share. No offense, just sayin'.

I agree with Dave on points 2 & 3 - I have seen the ad and don't quite get what the point is - it IS annoying and I tend to just ignore it. BUT, I do remember Verizon at the end, so maybe that IS the point. It's memorable. I do remember the first time I saw it wondering what the ad gurus were thinking ...
And I suppose this post works here, since it was an Android commercial, but it may be more Off-Topic than anything else.

I thought they killed thre ad. I saw it once about 3 weeks ago and have not seen it since. But it was really annoying. SuzyQ, ya may remember the Verizon name but not in a good light.
I just wonder how an ad agency could even think the ad is/was entertaining.

I have seen it recently (maybe they think it will work better here in CA?) - and yes, it's a negative connotation with the Verizon name. Makes you want to run right out to a Verizon store... NOT.

I saw the mother daughter crying ad in the last few days here. It is easy for me to tune out an ad if I know I have seen it before.

In my estimation, ALL ads are annoying...some more than others, true. I pay no attention to 99% of the TV ads, especially the ambulance-chancing lawyer ones, and the take X medication for Y illness, it may kill you but it's good for you. You don't have to change channels, just ignore them.

Those are amazing..... How many new issues you may get when taking something for another issue.

Right with you, mortb. In my estimation the most beneficial piece of technology yet invented is the mute button.
