I use message+. Is there a way to tell the number of messages sent or received...like in a conversation thread or even just overall

I'm going to do a massage text message clean out, but I'm interested in knowing how may messages I'm deleting. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and I use the Message+ app that came with the phone.

Anyone know how I can find out how many messages I've sent/received...either in a specific thread or overall, I don't care.

my verizon then my usage, there you see messages numbers.

The usage listed in your MyVerizon account online will only go back the past 90 days.
