Mobile data no longer connects online

My phone stopped connecting online with mobile data. I am not over my data limit. Mobile data is turned on. Why won't it connect?

One possibility is the SIM card is bad - shut down the phone, remove the SIM card, then reinsert it and reboot the phone. If that doesn't work, you can go to a Verizon (corporate) store and get a new SIM card free.
If it's not the SIM card, the other possibility that comes to mind is you are on a shared account, and have Family Base restrictions on your line. Could that be happening?
