I plan on buying the G4 plus to replace my 1st gen Moto G.

This is a awesome Open US Network smartphone. Moto G4plus. In Canada and having nightmare issues because it is not a "verizon" phone so no data. They are working very hard behind the scenes in International Tech Support, kudos to them. If you intend to travel anywhere outside the USA you may have to get a Verizon-sold phone or a expensive data package. Very frustrated with Verizon at this junction.
