Motorola droid while charging shut down and wont power up

I have check for any damage to the charger, and now have it on my PC charging . Held the power button 15 sec. a coupe of times still nothing

​If you have a Moto Droid Z/Z Force:

These are examples of the charger not fully inserted (device may show empty charge icon but still not charge device.)
